Millo Ankha is an artist and poet from Arunachal Pradesh, her practice is deeply informed by Indigenous worldviews. Drawing upon personal narratives, she explores the intersections of collective memory, gender, and ecology.
Working across photography, video, drawing, poetry, and performance, she approaches myth-making as a living and evolving process—one through which dreams, memories, narratives, and inherited knowledge are continuously transformed and reimagined. Her work examines how stories shape understandings of identity, belonging, and our relationships with the more-than-human world.
She is a member of Indigenous Photograph.
She is the founder and member of Aama Collective. -
